The Music Lounge by Doppelganger is one of the premier TE-based MMOs going, with a large and active user-base, expanding partnerships with the entertainment industry, and funding. We're looking for a very skilled game developer. Someone who loves games, is a top-shelf programmer, and wants to get in on a hot and ascendant product. Preferably able to work in San Francisco.

Doppelganger is a venture-backed San Francisco startup developing a teen-oriented
social-networking MMO. Music, style, and social gaming are combined with a stunning
visual aesthetic to create a powerful user experience.
Join a strong team of artists and engineers as we build out this world.
Responsibilities:
* Work with and develop new core aspects of our MMO game engine.
* Maintain, streamline and improve existing aspects.
* Work with Art Team to ensure the proper balance between aesthetic and technical concerns.
* Employ solid software engineering practices to ensure high-quality, maintainable/extensible
code and predictable schedules.
* Contribute to the development of a top-flight engineering team and successful company.
Desired qualifications:
* Passion for Game Development.
* Previous experience creating games and working with game engines a big plus.
* Mohawk.
* Smart, congenial, open-minded, productive.
* Commercial experience developing 3D environments.
* Excellent C++ programming skills.
* Experience with the Torque Engine.
* Solid OpenGL or other realtime 3D graphics experience.
* Solid general windows programming experience.
* Comfortable with Agile development culture and test-driven development.
* Experience with scalable distributed system design/implementation a big plus.
* BS/MS degree in Computer Science or related field.
Example apps, demo reels, images, etc, appreciated with resume.
People with the above qualifications pretty much all have good jobs,
