Is this book worth buying?

I am new at Torque (as you can see from my profile I'm only 12) and I was wondering that if this book is good to get started on TGE?

That's a great book to start with.

It's great for getting into Torque Script and if you're going to be scripting I recommend it.
It doesn't go into the engine code though.

Well, I'd love to say it's a great book, but it's not so far. Many of the bugs have not been updated since May of 2006 and it seems it's rather hard to get an answer to thread posts if you do have problems. One of the threads I just posted in today hasn't been been answered since February and I'm having the same problem the other person was.

It may have been good for it's time, but I get the feeling it's not supported.

Its out of date, but its better then Ken's books which have more problems than solutions.

Great book! And I don't agree with Francisco's statement that it's out of date.

This is by far and away the best book for learning Torque. Get it!

This book will take you so far, and if you are intelligent at all, you can take what you learn to become creative and step out of the bounds of the book.

How up to date is the book? I bought the 3d game programming book and the script examples seemed to be way out of date.
