Yeah. They've done a good job with it. I haven't played with it in a while, but it's a pretty nice system. There are (of course) caveats, but it hit its market well. I'd recommend reading everything you can on their site and forums.

If you have no development experience and want to make a MMO, then it's a pretty good system to get you started.

No MMO is easy, though. Even if you were modding WoW, you'd run into some hairy nightmare elements.

The graphics are crappy imo, every game pretty much looks the same and it really doesn't help you get much development experience with click button designs pre-programmed. if your just looking to make a quick and dirty demo then it's a fantastic tool.

You can make your own graphics.

EDIT:
For developers with no experience, it is a great starting point if they want to think about MMO design. Kaneva is as well. Sure, they will run into walls, but they will often run into walls making a single-player turn-based puzzle game at the point where desire equals accessibility. Realmcrafter is extremely accessible for the desire. In contrast, most other systems are MUCH less accessible, but much more extensible.

David, what about MyDreamRPG?

Is it any good?

I haven't used it, but those who are using it like it. I like the people over at MyDreamRPG. They're a good group. You can't purchase a new license, however. The cut-off date is over. Their existing licensees have support, but there are no new sales.

If you are comfortable with Torque, the source architecture, etc, then the MMOKit from MyDreamRPG (no available now) and MMOWorshop's kit (available with the purchase of Minions of Mirth, with a professional edition to come).
