Making A Vehicle

Ok, I have the latest Mac version of blender. All the tutorials show it in Windows format. Can someone tell me or show me how to make a firetruck or at least a simple vehicle so i can get started? I'm making a emergency game where you race to the emergency. I'm only doing this becuase it's simple. I'm going to start small so I can get a hang of this career and work my way up. Anways, I need vehicles for that game so that is why I am asking. So can someone plz show me how to make a truck?

All the tutorials for the pc version work for the mac as well. Blender is really a unix/linux based program running on python for both platforms. The only real difference is the keyboard commands and they are just named combos (apple +v verse control + v) keys then anything vastly different.

Blender has hundreds of free published tutorials all over the web, just do a google search, I'm positive you can find a vehicle modeling tutorial (at least one). It sounds more like you want someone to make a truck for you...

Jason is right Les, I learned to use Blender in a few hours using the basic set of tutorials to help me understand the navigation and tools, AND I'm on a Mac.

However, if you've never used a 3D model/animation package before, it will take more time to get your head around it and up to speed. Be patient and stick with it. Blender is very powerful and worth the investment in time to understand it's power.
