More RW logo madness

All this talk of RW logos prompted me to bust out Illustrator and make an attempt of my own. Have a look and see what you think!

@Owen - Heres the no-sword version. I actually was going to do the sword in full detail but didnt have time this afternoon after making the lettering, so I opted for the more symbolic look. Im actually not 100% sure I like the sword in there myself as it is in the pic above.

I like the way it looks, but maybe too shiny and futuristic? The RW colors seem to be earthy tones in general.

It is very nicely done but it doesn't realy fit in with the whole fantasy theme. If you would say it's about street gang war i would say it is right on with the grafiti letters and the wall behind it but not for fantasy stuff..

it might look nice, and lose that "gang war" look if the colours get changed to the RW yellow/golden/brown set. I can imagine it looking real cool.

The only thing I can think of is the same as what James mentionned, perhaps altering the appearance of the letters into glass, or a blades would make it fit in a little better..

Make the two words slam together with a big boom, then have the sword come down and slide between the words with a slicing effect. Then have a glare go across the words. I think this would be very nice of done.
