Prairie Games MMOKit Atlas question
by Justin Dobbs · in Torque Game Engine Advanced · 04/17/2007 (6:35 am) · 6 replies
Ok so i am testing the alpha MMOKit from Prairie Games and it does not come with TDN access so i was wondering if someone could share with me how to convert RAW files to atlas files if that is not possible then i will find it quite hard to test out fully but i have no plans to buy TGEA untill it is told whether it will be included in the MMOkit or separate so far i hear it will be one product and if that is true then i would be buying TGEA twice if i purchased it now

In the past, certain licenses were required for new source products even if the source was "included" in the bundle. For example, the RTS kit includes the TGE 1.3 source with the RTS kit integrated, but you had to be a TGE licensee to be able to purchase the RTS kit because of the source inclusion. You weren't buying TGE twice. You were just given the convenience of integration.

PS I will keep that in mind on licensing but i am still going to test it a bit more before i commit cash to the engine in any case the non source code edition they don't plan to charge anything for but you cant use it for a profitable game and cant modify the c++ source or much of the torque script.
