Perspective camera bug

by Stevie X · in Constructor · 04/15/2007 (7:38 am) · 2 replies

I'm working on a pyramid model made of several brushes. When I select certain brushes in perspective view (1 brush at the time) my perspective rotation point is set high above the ground and not on the center of the selected brush.
I've tried to restart several times, but still the same.
I work on a mac os x 10.4.9 intel duo, 1gb ram.
see example (hope image works..)

Greetings!

It looks like your brush's pivot point has been set off-center. Was there anything special about how you built that brush?

To fix it you could try to use the Reset Selected Pivot Points tool on the selected brush, or use the Move Brush Pivot Point tool to manually relocate the brush's pivot point.

I hope that helps.

Hi Dave,
I have tried both now and none works... :(
Reset = message: pivot point has been reset. - and when I save and restart app. it's still the same.
Move = constr. stalls - not responding and I've let it stay that way for 15-20 min. but it just wont do the trick.

The hows: I made a pyramid, hollowed it, made the steps and subtracted the steps form from the bottom and that made another split - ground split into 3 parts, 2 big sides and a middle part (width = step width).
Hope that gives some help.

I will send you the clx and csx files for review.
