Well I seen threads, Maybe we can keep them in one spot,

I have this issue everytime, Well I save the .csx file --> export using map2difplus--> load in my game it work's and just to test my .dif.

here is the problem, I reopen my .csx or .dif make some change's--> resave my .csx--> try to use map2dif to export and if fail's everytime (after reopening a .csx and then trying to export again after editing) the map2dif plugin keep's saying can not export texture and it fail's everytime after being save and reopened.

just wanted to report this problem and does anyone else have this issue and anyway to resolve this issue.

if you have a big .dif and like to add a little each day, it kind of makes it difficult. not knowing if it will export.

maybe this was covered some where

The problem is the texture's do not reload when the .csx file is opened, if you look in the texture browser, in texture's used on map, the names are there but it only show's error for each one

Any particular reason you are using the map2dif export?

Yes the direct export for me doesn't work at all, I use my 3d world editor in torque and click on the diff to add it in and it never show's up at all, just the relight bar come's up at the bottom. that's it no gizmos or .dif ever show's up.

well scratch that I was using the 1.5 SDK that is why I couldn't get a direct export to work, I just tried it with the 1.5.1 SDK and it worked, but it didn't export the art and when inserted to the sdk it kicked saying didn't have the proper art.
any ideas for getting the art to export when exporting the dif sorry I forgot about the upgrade

I read the tdn it said I need to copy them manually

Yeah the textures should export when exporting as dif, but they don't for me either.

what i do even though it is a extra step it alot easier then manually copy and pasting them.

when i export i export using map2dif_plus. then i export again as dif.

i guess the map2dif_plus imports the textures to the dif folder you export your interior to. then ya need to export again as dif so the textures come out as textures and not all blackened in.

I also just tested putting in a spotlight in on my dif building, on the export it did not show up on the building at all when put into the game world.
