Registration Problem

I'm having trouble registering my copy of Constructor. Every time I put in the key I was given, and is on the order page, and press "Register" it just locks up. The button text switches to "Cancel" like it should, but then nothing happens. Then if I try to use the software it tells me that I haven't registered. So something isn't right. Could it be my connection to the net? I live way out in the middle of nowhere, so I don't have a connection at home. I have to use a wireless setup at a library. I know that was a problem when connecting to the CVS server for downloads of the TGEA, so I'm wondering if it is also a problem here.

I am able to get ignition to fail (crashes out) by trying to register when running fiddler - a simple http session debugger. I'm very curious if you can register any other ignition enabled software from your library connection.

I haven't tried using ignition for any other products, so I can't be much help to you there. I can reach the website just fine. It is, as a matter of fact, how I'm writing these posts. I wonder if the problem was one of speed and connection to my computer, i.e. - my connection to the server was too slow because of the buffer of the library system, so the computers assumed there was an error and gave a failure message. Just a guess.
I have great views out my windows, but man I miss broadband....

I was able to get it to work. It seems that one of the times I tried to register, a crash resulted in a locked log file. After I deleted that file and ran it again it succeeded in registering. It just took a really long time (30 minutes.) I haven't tried using ignition for any other products, so I can't be much help to you there. I can reach the website just fine. Is there anything interesting in your console.log file after you shutdown Constructor? Are you able to register any other Torque products that use Ignition, such as TST Pro?
Finally, are you able to reach the GarageGames' web site from your library connection? Assuming that you're not writing this very posting from there, of course. :o)
