Here's a character I've been working on in Silo . . .

P.S. You can get Silo 1.4 and Silo 2 Beta right now for $109 (54.50 each) or you can wait a few months and get Silo 2 for $149.

LightRay3d and there is a torque plugin. If you like 3ds max you will like LightRay3d.

There is currently no DTS/Torque exporter for Silo 1.4 or 2, but you can easily save your objects as .OBJs and use obj2dts to get your models into TGE. In case anyone is wondering, Silo is only a modeling/sculpting tool. It doesn't do animations. Blender can certainly do more than Silo and it costs a lot less, but Silo is much easier to learn and is a blast to use.

I've been trying gamespace light, I like the interface and it truly has been so simple to work with, but the full version is $200 I think. I was thinking though blender can import .x formats right? if so you could do all the work in gamespace light modeling animation everything, and then just save it load it into blender to save as a .dts

I've been trying to find a good model tool myself, I tried blender since it is free and tried it many times but I don't see how anyone can stand using that.I've been trying gamespace light, I like the interface and it truly has been so simple to work with, but the full version is $200 I think.
