Possible to modify panels?

I'd like to add some functionality to some of the panels. Is it possible to change the definitions of these, add buttons, controls, etc?

At this time (v1.0) there is no method available to customize the Forms. The closest you can get are adding your own plug-ins and these will show up under the User tab of the Tools Form.
