Getting people

I was wondering what does the community thought about hiring people across the internet is a good idea because I have a game idea, but I can't do everything and I will pay everybody after the game sells.

Not many "pay everybody after the game sells" projects ever see light of day, and there are many "pay everybody after the game sells" projects out there. When a little cash is on the line people feel good about the project, but without any investment its more difficult to care.

I am all for "hiring people across the internet", heck I have worked from home as a game content designer for about 10 years now. Im quick, meticulous and cheep- and very flexible about payment for the work, i often take as little as 1/4 payment upfront as a token of the projects seriousness. Not going to invest some cash, must not be very dedicated to the project and motivations will fade away.
