I can't believe its finally coming out...

Hoping the constructor works will with there engines, look forward to monday when run it through there ringer.

Iam hoping it will be easy enough for me to use :P ive had little success using quark or gtkradient(none really, the best dif ive gotten from anything was from blender lol).

I can hardly wait - mainly because we'll finally have an editor built with torque in mind but those of us who work in a mac environment will have at least one option.

Man the Constructor is so cool... wish they had the docs out so I could know what I was doing. Oh well I got the whole weekend to play around with it.

@Rick: Docs are not up in TDN yet....Hopefully Monday. The update for TGE 1.5.1 is up...don't forget to download it so you can use the features.

When I saw the announcement was on April 1st I thought to myself "Nice April fools joke" but then again I notice they are serious. Either way free or pay I am excited about the release of constructor and I thank everyone at GG for trying so hard to make it possible for the little guy to make there dreams a reality.

@Rick: for docs use 3PAI1 2nd edition. It's helps...don't think it covers all the changes. I don't think the map2dif that comes with the constructor is the same as the one with TGE 1.5.1. Got it to export direct to dif but had some issues.

I got thinking and it makes sense that they gave it away. There will be a lot more games created with Torque if all the people out there can finally make their geometry with out worrying about licence restrictions from Valve, or putting up with Quark's interface. I bet you ll start to see a rise of games developed over the next year after this.
