Torque 360/TGEA

I noticed in the developer store there is a Torque 360 and TGEA. Are they going to be two different engines or is the Toque 360 going to be an add on for the current game engine so we can play and test them on the Xbox 360?

Torque 360 is TGEA that has been ported to the 360. You have to have an official developer license and devkit from Microsoft to be eligible to use Torque 360.

Same engine. You need a different license, though, as stated.

Torque 360 is the TGEA xbox port posibility and it isnt for indies because it requires agreements with microsoft in his xbox 360 developer program and be a official licensee of the xbxo 360 dev kit

and that would require you to be a well stablished gaming company with some already somewhat succesful released games... and have a wallet of several thousand dollars to afford the xbox dev kit..

and then have a team of extremely experienced developers to port your tgea game succesfully on the xbox

so its simply not posible for humble mortals like us hehehehe

If you want xbox devlopment i suggest xna its coded in c# and if you pay 100 a year for the creators club you can develop for the xbox. its not as new as one would think but its a steady growing comunity and as far as i know the only outlet for people who want to develop on the xbox platform at this moment with out an expencive kit.
