Computer kicked the bucket while using TGB animation builder

My HP zv5000 got a runtime error while using the animation builder, hung the computer... turned to a black screen... and now my computer won't boot (where the "windows xp loading" image should be there's just some flickering blue lines).

What I did was delete an image map - which in turn deleted 2 animations. Then I removed that image strip from my images/data section, placed in a new one, opened the engine again and uploaded a new celled imagemap. Then when I opened the animation builder and put the 3rd frame in everything came to a hault.

I've never had this serious of a problem with my HP. Where is a good place to get it fixed (reputable small business or a chain?)?

I got a runtime error... don't remember exactly what it said... but maybe that could have been caused by my video card kicking the bucket? That might explain why the windows xp loading image doesn't appear correctly and booting won't proceed. If it doesn't happen to be a video card problem keep an eye on this thread so we can find out what went wrong.

This may be an image file problem. I had the same problems(but only with TGB, windows is ok) - an image resolution dpi was wrong. It should be 72dpi.

@Igor: Your computer died, too because of that?

My case seems to be a video card or motherboard death... probably just bad timing that a TGB hangup was the killer. However, I'd like to keep this thread here to document the occurence and see if someone down the road has a similar problem - would like to hear more from Igor as well.

@Oliver: No, it doesn't. Only the TGB is hung.
