Mac Version of TGEA?

by Joseph D. Walters · in Torque Game Engine Advanced · 03/30/2007 (2:04 pm) · 3 replies

I am putting together a tech doc and was thinking about platforms and was curious weather there is going to be a Mac port of TGEA any time over the next year or so?

Thanks in advanced.

My advice is to plan as though there will not be one. That way you can make solid decisions about what exists in a usable state now. It would be nice to know to get plans together, but information and time-frames are often difficult to come by.

I think that is the way I am going to have to handle it if I can't get a solid response from GG. I would be happier if I could plan ahead on things like this though.

Assuming the time it took to get TGEA DX where it is and the problems it still has, I would say the chances are around 0-5% that you have something in production stable level by the end of the "first year free upgrade" period. (thats just an estimate basing on other things that have been mentioned to be already worked on 6 months ago without progressing till now)

Would go for TGE + Modernization Kit if Mac is important to you.
