Soup out wheelchairs

Hi, I have a idea for a racing game. We would race electric wheelchairs, but we would keep building one wheelchair up with engines and wheels. Every race that you win, you get money. The back story will be like you were in jail and got hurt and became disable. You got out of jail and started a wheelchair race club.... Let me know how you feel about this

The other aspect of these games that really draws me to them is that there are several different kinds of races. The different kinds of races add variety to the game and give the player a reason to re-tune the car a different way, instead of just building it up to the max and then reaching a point of stand still.
With your wheelchair idea, I think it will be important for you to come up with some unique styles of racing. Perhaps, sidewalk races instead of street races, where there are lots of obsticles like benches, people, and fire hydrant blasts. Or, instead of rally races, you could have park races where you race around a park dodging playground equipment, jumping ponds, and avoiding trees, etc.
Also you can get really creative with the types of modifications to the wheelchairs. Big Tires, Longer chassis, NOS, Aerodynamic Body Mods. I can really see some futuristic or just plain goofy, looking chairs.
Fascinating Idea! I hope it works out for you.
Best of Luck

These are the only types of racing games that I will play. Games like NFS:Underground, NFS:Most Wanted, and NFS: Carbon are attractive in that they allow a player to tweak and tune their cars with realistic parts. not only that, but the effects of the parts are easily visible. What I mean is, that when you buy and install a part, then tweak it, you can really tell the difference. Also if you choose to re-tune that same part in a different way, you can tell a difference between the first tune and the re-tune. The other aspect of these games that really draws me to them is that there are several different kinds of races. The different kinds of races add variety to the game and give the player a reason to re-tune the car a different way, instead of just building it up to the max and then reaching a point of stand still.

Just wanted to note (like I did in your blog) that I think this is a sweet idea! I'll post more tomorrow when I'm not as braindead...or so I like to think!
