What do you think about these two pumpkins? My client likes number 2 but I think it is to bright. What do you think about the light and iso view. The view on number 2 is did on the information I found on the adventure kit.

Fucifer, depending on where they will be placed, #2 does look a bit ... bright ... I definitely like the perspective view on #1 over #1 ... if it's intended to be placed inside of an Adv Kit game ...

#1 is not in perspective to the surrounding art assets. I think #2 is fine, and not too bright.

Err -- that comment should have said "view on #2 over #1" ... haha :)

As Todd said, the perspective on #2 is correct. I like the brightness of it as well; are you planning on creating a few different sizes of the same pumpkin (I assume it's a 3D render, in which case you can rotate it slightly a few times for 2 or 3 more renders)?

Nice pumpkins!

I'd go with the perspective of pumpkin #2. The Adventure Kit assets were all created at 45-angles to the camera and that one looks dead-on to me. :)

Also, the lighting on all the assets was fairly non-directional, with a little bit more coming straight down from the top. Kinda lazy lighting, I know, but I wanted to make it easier for users to drop in new art without too much fiddling with light. If you're trying to match the scene, one light from the top with a lot of ambient... and you're there! :)

Specifically, in Maya:
One ambient light: Intensity 1.5, Ambient Shade .30
One directional light from above: Intensity 1.0

If I had it all to do over again, a little bit of rim light from one side wouldn't of hurt, just to give a little more volume to everything.

Thanks, yes I going to do various size and shapes and some with vines. Outstanding information I will give the lighting a test.

Number 3 has the lighting Russell was talking about and number 2 is little more intensity lighting and number 1 is same as number 2 above.

Y not do them all?
