Does anyone know any 3d modelers that are for mac and is free?

Or has a demo?

But if you're an art-minded Mac user, I'm not doing you any favors by posting that link. Blender is . . . well . . . I'll just let you give it a try.

It is a powerful program and some people absolutely love it. But for me, personally, I would rather peal the skin off the bottoms of my feet and walk across broken glass than use Blender.

If you can scrape together 109 USD, I would strongly recommend getting Silo. Version 2, beta 8 now supports macs. In the past few months, Silo has become my primary modeling tool. It doesn't do animations, but for sheer modeling power *and* pleasure, nothing beats Silo. :)

I am an art-minded Mac user too. Go for Blender, it is worth every k of the download and it has a very powerfull animation toolset too. If you are looking for just a modeller, go for Wings3d, it is also free and I like it way better than Silo.
