I guess the simplest way to describe triggers is that they are resizeable objects that can notifiy the engine of one event (i.e. when a player enters and area for example) and then "trigger" another event in response.

They can be used for any number of different things, just last night I finally figured out how to create AI spawns at predetermined locations triggered by the player entering certain "trigger" zones.

(unless you are talking about something else in regards to Blender and exporting a DTS object, since I noticed you'd posted in the Blender forums...then of course I have no idea what a trigger is).

Triggers are ways you tell the engine to create a decal on the terrain mainly used in the walk and run animations. For example, if you were to export a run animation you would put a trigger on the keyframe your character's foot touches the ground.

Ahh...that's right..those triggers...boy you can tell that it's been a while since I've done any character animation...I'd forgotten even what that process was called...

I'm getting old...

Hey guys,

I have a question at that point, I am confused ;I am aiming l ıke this: when the car meet wıth road sign,trigger will bring my company webpage on the left side on the wındow. How can I do this? Any help would be pleasure for me....
