FPS Indie Project

I've been playing around with Torque for a couple of months now and just now starting to grasp a lot of it. So I think I'm ready to put a team together to start working on a game I had in mind.

I know there are few out there like it (kinda like it I guess), but it's a starting point. It mixes some characteristics of a MMO with a MP FPS game.

In this FPS you join up with a team (Online) to do missions or levels. Each mission/level pays a certain amount of game currency, and experience points. With the currency you can upgrade your weapons from the store or buy armor, ammo, etc. With the experience you can buy certifications, and advance your level to get higher & harder missions. Characters will remain persistent, however it's not an MMO since you're not going into the mission with every player online, only with your team.

The team positions currently open are:

3D Modelers (Need to know how to import to Torque and make them game ready).
Programmers (Need to own a copy of Torque, and have some experience with Torque scripting).
Mappers & Content Artists (To design Missions/Levels, Need to have some experience with Torque Terrain Editor)
2D Artists (For model textures, and GUI art).
Sound Artists (For making sound effects & music).

Most of the Design is quite simple, but will be elaborated on in Design Docs and Discussion.

We currently have at our disposal:

A website (UntiedGames.com) - I'm currently working on this, but it isn't too much of a priority.
SVN
IRC Chatroom
Ventrilo Server for Instant Communication and Collaboration for team members.

Currently this is a Volunteer only team, however when it's released we will offer a trial and buy option, and money will be distributed based on time spent on the project & work produced.

To get more information or to join, please send me an email at clayh1 -at- gmail -dot- com

Thanks for your time.

I wouldn't mind helping out with the music part, let me know if you still need people for that.

Thanks,
