Help! How can I view frame rate?

Hey guys, do you know how to view current frame rate in the game (TGE/TSE)?

Type metrics(fps) in the console.

The free version of Fraps will do it automatically, and save you typing the command a lot or going to the trouble of binding it to a key.

I find it more convenient.
