Hi,i'm new to the forums, and i don't know if anyone has made this idea in here before but i was wondering if anybody would be interested in a Rpg style game but with a FPS engine? It would be action packed, of course, maybe a storyline of a evil man trying to take over the world with his dark army, and your small elite army is the only thing from stoping him. It could get more indepth, of course but something along those lines. You could get all powerfull weapon upgrades and so on.
Off the topic is the torque engine a fPS engine? I never played tribes2.
Well thanks for taking the time for reading my post, hope to hear some reply's.

i played elder scrolls and i enjoy it, but it is not the type of action i was looking for, i would like a game like halo be a rpg type game, were you can pick classes and so on, sort of like morrowind but with the halo engine. thanks for the reply's,

It has good story (at least, for a game - incarnated onto big screen this game would be just a B-movie), and good skill system IMO.
It had everything you wanted - shooter action (although, it is possible to sneak thru the whole game without killing at all) and RPG skill system. Tomorrow our kids will learn about this game in schools as it shaped up a RPG genre a bit.
