We are interested attending to any game/animation/simulation/3D related event in Florida, we are looking forward to meeting with othe local development companies in order to learn from their experiences and perhaps creating new partnerships with companies.

Thanks in advance,

The Teravision Games' Team

TIG (Torque Interest Group) meets periodically in Orlando to discuss Garage Games related engines and products.

Full Sail usually has a lot of speakers and events, especially IGDA meetings.

Then, there's always IITSEC at the end of the year. . .

Well, for simulation there's I/ITSEC, which is the big one for the simulation industry. That won't be until December. Just a couple weeks ago we held our second TIG(Torque Interest Group) event here in Orlando. We'll likely be having another sometime, but it's unknown when that will be. We'll make an announcement on here when one does happen.

Oh, and there's always the monthly IGDA meetings. The Orlando chapter meetings normally take place at Full Sail Real World Education in Winter Park. Contact Dustin Clingman for more info on when the next meeting is, you can find his contact info in the list of chapters on the IGDA site. There may be a chapter closer to you also if you're not near Orlando.

edit:
Damn, Michael beat me to it. Watch out behind you Michael. ;)

You guys, I haven't been able to contact Dustin Clingman, I posted a thread in a IGDA forum seeking for responses but so far I have not gotten the info about when the next Orlando meeting is. If anyone knows this please let me know.

Also, there's one of us in the Teravision Games team that will be going to Vancouver in the upcomming weeks so anybody knows where I could get info about any game/animation/simulation/3D related event in that area???

Thanks a lot!!!!!

I'm a high school computer science teacher in Orlando and I want to teach torque to my students next year. Anyone have anytime to stop by my school near downtown to talk about what I should be teaching? Thanks.

Hey Brian, send me an email to the address listed in my profile. I can help out. I work in downtown, and live near the location. Which high school?
