Working with visual c++ 2005 express edition

Hi,

I'm planning to buy TGE next month but i've seen Visual C++ 8 (2005 express edition) isn't be supported.
Can you explain me if there is a problem to use visual C++ 8 and TGE together or not?

Thank you

There is a project file for it as well as TDN articles relating to it. It is the recommended free compiler for Windows.

Ok thanks

last question. Can I use the rts starter kit for a commercial game with the indie licence ?

I will buy those two articles + Torsion Ide at the beginning of april. The engine and the rts starter kit are really amazing!!!! Thanks to the ones that have made those!

You can make commercial games with the Indie license as long as you dont make over $250K a year.

Indie does not mean that you cannot sell your games.

Just to make sure things are clear:

TGE compiles cleanly out of the box with VC Express 2005.
