Sweet Jesus! A Linux patch!

From Chris Mahnken, Tribes producer at Sierra:
"Welcome back to the Tribes 2 Update Beta program. We have a second patch ready for testing. This fixes a few additional issues with the game and repairs some new issues that we inadvertently created with the last patch. Additionally there will be a linux version of the patch available soon. "

Read that last line again. Ok, I may be getting ahead of myself...This could be just the linux server patch, which would make em so upset. But for now, I'm going for a highly optimistic mood. If this is true, then I really appreciate it, and Sierra will be back in my good books.

Excellent!
This is now official. The patch was done by Sam Lantinga, ex-Loki employee, current Blizzard employee, and main SDL developer. Hurray for Sam!

Relevant link is here.

This is excellent news. I am really happy.
