FPS player rotation in 1.5

Is it me or is the rotation limited under 1.5 in the starter.fps?
When I run a mission and turn my player using the mouse (standard control) the engine is somehow keeping track of that rotation and limiting it. I have to turn the mouse the other direction to fix it. It seems like some multiple of 360 degrees. It is really annoying and probably somewhere in the player.cc code, but is this even recognized as a bug at this point?

Hi Frank,
I've got a virgin install of TGE 1.5; Kork spins 'til he's dizzy with no apparent limits, in either direction.

Dang it, what is going on then? I guess I need to dig some more. Is it 1.5 or is there any subversions on it? It has been a month since I downloaded 1.5 so I assume they are the same. Maybe it is a Linux issue.
