Torque running in browser (PC and mac both) ?

Dear Torque community,
I want to develop a game that should run in a browser (mainly IE and Firefox) and on any OS (Win, OsX, Linux)
I assume this means I have to use OpenGL (mac does not speak DirectX).
My questions are
1. Has anyone done such a thing before?
2. Do I need a special browser plugin?
Many thanks,
Istvan

I've started a Mac version of the plugin to run under Safari and Firefox. I expect to finish it sometime before September.
I don't need a Linux version enough to do it myself, but if someone else were to make the Plugin work under Linux I would probably use it.

This is currently for Windows only -- the Firefox plugin works on Opera as well. The IE plugin doesn't work under Windows Vista, but is fine under XP.I've started a Mac version of the plugin to run under Safari and Firefox. I expect to finish it sometime before September.

And the answers are . . .
1. Yes, Neil Marshall has done something like it.
2. He has built plugins for Firefox and IE
You can read more about it here . . .

Neil has made several postings on this subject and all of them are pretty cool.
