Memory usage and Music

All,
At the moment my game has a number of areas (in one mission) where different pieces of music are blasted out of planted emitters. There are 5 pieces of music and each are fairly hefty - 500k OGG files - I say hefty but there appear to be some people on here trying to deal with 10MB audio files!!!
Anyway, I am trying to strip my game down so it is playable on lower-spec machines. At the moment it crumbles on fairly decent 512MB 1Ghz+ machines.
Is my use of these music files silly? Do they expand in memory hugely? Or should I be looking elsewhere to bring my memory requirements down?
Thanks,
Gords
