Rotate Water Block causes replicators to stop working correctly

I'm adding a series of lakes to our landscape, and one lake in the mountains requires a bit of rotating to fit in the space available. But, when the water block is rotated, it seems the engine thinks the entire world is under water based on the location of the lake.
I have one area on the map with just some test replicators, and the next time the mission loads, they don't appear. If I unrotate the lake, reload, the replicators are back.
This applies to shape and foliage replicators.
