Water block Winks Out

... it just disappears when you get a certain distance from the center of it.

i've tried enlarging the scale, enlarging the view distance, enlarging the mission area... all to no avail...

for a naval sim, i'm gonna need a pretty exapnsive bit of water... any ideas appreciated...

one thing i noticed was that if i looked straight down the waterblock would appear again, and as i raised the view angle it would disappear again...
