New here, some questions

Hey guys, hoping to become a regular around here in a few weeks, but I do have some questions before I get started, so here goes :)

From reading around the forums, it seems as if TGE is fairly easy to pickup and how to use it with some respective time diving into it, but it im more curious as of the learning curve.

For some information as to my experience in programming, I've been programming for roughly 7 years now in VB, C++, and some Java. Thanks for any response in advance

It's fairly easy to learn, this coming from someone who doesn't know a thing about programming. I'm still learning a lot as I go, but there are a ton of resources available to help you if you get stuck, and the community has been pretty good about helping me, cept for some mouse issues i stopped getting responses on, lol. I tried OGRE and Irrlicht and this is 100 times easier than those engines to get anything going on. Hope this helps.

The biggest part about starting TGE is to try not to be overwhelmed. Once you get the hang of it you will quickly love using it(well, maybe not with the art pipeline, that takes alot of time and maybe some headaches to love).
