If you have purchased PD Particles from here at GG or elsewhere, you'll be interested in this free plugin:
www.thebest3d.com/pdp/downloads
CoolTools collection #1 for PD Particles 1.0
- Store Image
- Store Alpha
- Paint on Alpha
- Grow Alpha
- Shrink Alpha
We think that these are tools which will greatly enhance productivity when working with images created or manipulated in PD Particles. Perhaps some day we'll have them included as integral part with a future release patch, but in the meantime we felt that these should be part of PD Particles.
If you're a programmer in VB you'll be interested in knowing that you can extend the features of PD Particles for free quite easily: the above filters are examples of opensource code samples in the SDK, originally made for PD Pro, changed slightly to connect to PD Particles instead. If you have your own idea of some filters or algorithm or connection/plugin to another application you want to create, check www.thebest3d.com/dogwaffle/sdk
Happy waffling!

You may want to keep an eye on Tom Arah's column in PC Pro magazine (March or April issue) - it has a long, very detailed and in-depth review of PD Particles, PD Artist and PD Pro.
