Linux ubuntu 6.10 TGE install

I just install Ubuntu on my PC and I have tried all day to get TGE Demo to load. I have it unpacked and in my Home folder if someone could please tell me how I can get this to work.

You need to make the TorqueDemo.bin file an executable. Right-click on the file and select Properties. A small window will appear. Navigate to the Permissions tab, and make sure the "Allow executing file as program" box is checked.

You also need to be a bit more specific as to the nature of your predicament.

And yes, I know this thread is really old.
