Newbee Marches Onward - Worldcraft Conquered!!!

Well, not really conquered...
... but Today was Worldcraft Day, and after spending practically the whole day getting the thing configured and trying to understand what was going on, I can finally say that the basic concepts of integrating WorldCraft with the Torque system have been mastered.
I feel like I've come quite far since last weeks posts, when I was totally lost with this thing.
I made my first .map in Worldcraft, and got it succesffuly migrated into the Test mod.

It's nothing special, just a simple room with a blinking light source, but, like someone said earlier, there's nothing like the feeling you get when you see your first map up and running in the game.
I can actually run around in it, the texturing worked, and it even casts shadows on the terrain.... coool...
I also managed to answer a previous question I posted about texturing. It seems as if my textures where too dark and needed work in order to show up with any sort of 'vibrance' in Torque.
A lil adjustment with the gamma and a lil hilighting here and there did the trick (I used the textures from the robot guy as an example of how to get a shiny metalic appearance).

Also, I had scaled the model by a factor of 44... (I can hear you all laughing now).
When I first imported it, it was sooooo small, and I saw the option to scale it... so like a new dummy I just went scale crazy... needless to say, the results were less than underwhelming.
Whenever I moved a few meters from the model, the textures just blanked out, and all I had left was a dark colored shape.
It looks a lot better now...
OK, next comes scripting... I have a funny feeling that this part is gonna be the hardest.
Thanks Again for all the help (and the prayers :) )
And please forgive me for spamming the forum... it just feels so good to start to see a lil light here, that I want to share it with everyone... especially the other new guys who may be finding it a lil hard to get things moving.
