I was wondering if anybody else is seeing any similar issues such as

with TGEA MS 4.2. This is from a Laptop (GeForce 6800Go), and also had another dev member with an ATI x1900 have almost the same issue, except it locked up his whole PC in the process.

I would look towards drivers, but 2 seperate instances, 2 different cards... :(

Not my system, but its on a laptop, so I would assume theres been no overclocking as it worked fine on an older build (MS3.5 or so).I would look towards drivers, but 2 seperate instances, 2 different cards... :(

If it's happening on multiple machines, then it's probably video memory corruption - something is doing some really bad stuff. Does this occur in the stock demos? Your screen is not stock, maybe you did a bad merge?

So, if it is infact something doing something it shouldn't, I would expect it to do it on all systems, but maybe not.
The merge was as clean as possible, as we reworked from MS4 last month, and made sure to have a clean starting point for merging to 4.2.. which all went well.
Scripts are based off of MS4 compilation with merges from 4.2 for the few changes that exist there.

I will try to get our guys to run the stock demos and see if there are any issues. It has only happened to 2 of our guys, so far, as its fine for me and 3 or 4 others. So, if it is infact something doing something it shouldn't, I would expect it to do it on all systems, but maybe not.

I had that too on my laptop, but that was like MS3 and only appeared randomly. I know, not much help. Sorry.
