Character blend animations

I'm using 3ds max 7 in which I've got a character modeled and skinned using biped. I'm also using the sequence manager in the DTS exporter utility which holds several animations (all setup correctly). However, when I export and get my character into Torque (fps kit), the animations do not blend correctly and I can't figure out why. The run animation is working, but when I use light_recoil, it screws up the run animation by blending the 2 together. It's really bizarre. The arms end up bending behind the character as he runs from that point on.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to correct this issue?

Thomas, I sent you an email yesterday including the max file in case you could find something I overlooked. I've also been reading through this tutorial (http://www.garagegames.com/docs/tge/general/ch08s05.html) but to no avail...

Quick question: Are you using the Maxdts exporter with the snazzy interface or the "original" exporter that comes with the engine?

I'm using the exporter that comes with the interface. However, I've got two options to export as (Torque Shape Exporter and Torque DTS Shape) - I use Torque DTS Shape, the other one doesn't seem to work. I've used several variations of the exporter in the past.

I seem to recall my own issues ending up being my own doing, with overlooked issues in my Max setups.
I think I would go back to your Max setup and make sure that it REALLY is setup correctly. Make sure that model centers are in the right place. Make sure things are rotated the correct directions. Make sure that you haven't scaled anything without "setting" the scale in stone by using the "reset xform" utitlity or the "box trick".
After that I would check out the export settings for your blend.
If you want I could look at your file and see if I can find any issues...
