Darkwind: War on Wheels, switching to closed beta soon

Dear members of the Garage Games Community.

If you created an account with us during the Open Beta phase, we would like to invite you to register, to take part into the incoming Closed Beta phase.
It is also the right time to register the game if you haven't done so yet, for some reason! ;-)

Here is the post from our Lead Developper, Sam Redfern:

This is an advance warning that open testing will cease after the current season, (i.e. 18th Feb).

We will be closing the game for new players at that time, and will spend some weeks testing, integrating, and balancing the new wilderness-based combats, travel and trade, all of which are progressing well.

Anyone wishing to stay involved during the closed beta testing period should send an IM to me or viKKing. The intention is to run test events at pre-planned times during the closed testing.

As stated at the season's start, each league winner this season will earn free gametime which will be redeemable when we switch across to pay-to-play with Darkwind version 1.0. A very approximate date for this is mid-to-late April 2007.

To apply, log in the forum and send either a Private Message to Sam or viKKing, you will then be added to the closed beta team.
