Don't tease me now Ken, if I go home and can't install this I might have to go postal on someone ;)

Also note, if you have an old txscene file that you want to run with the new build, you will need to use the included "ConvertBETAtxscene" program on the scene file.

Affirmative.. saw that right away :) Great looking improvements so far. Still hashing away at the differences to port Fowl Prowl over.

Liking the fixes so far :). Gonna be banging on the editor and engine over the next few days, should be able to provide a little more useful feedback by then.

Was this issue ever resolved? I can't find anything about it under any other topics. I don't think the version of TGB I've been using (TGB Pro - Indie License) requires a key, so I'm not sure how to register TGBX. My trial version has only a precious couple of days left.

Do not use the TGBX installer on the TGB page to upgrade this beta build. We haven't updated that installer, so running it will back-rev your TGBX to the previous beta version (bad).
You'll need to use the trial version for now."

You should just use the TGBX that installes from the link in your profile page to the closed TXE beta. If you look at your management page at GG, you should see a key for TGB, that's what you use for TGBX to register it.

The TGBX installer on the main page isn't something that needs 'fixing'. The problem is that closed beta's version of TGBX is far more advanced than open beta (which is what you can get from the TGB page). So the two are not compatible at this time. The only way to fix it is to move the current closed beta into open beta status. You should just use the TGBX that installes from the link in your profile page to the closed TXE beta. If you look at your management page at GG, you should see a key for TGB, that's what you use for TGBX to register it.
