Particles???

If I use the particle system in Blender to make hair for my model can the particles be exported or just the mesh object?

That sucks!!! The particle system can make some pretty cool effects. Too bad we can't use it.

BTW, just because it is in Blender does not mean the TGE engine can support the way Blender does it. Blender is way more powerful for animation and visual effects. However, it is not necessarily real time either. For instance, when you import an IK animation the exporter has to cycle through the animation to make keyframes (snapshots) of the animated mesh. The TGE does not support IK by default.

Can you convert the particles animated at different locations and convert them to meshes for export?BTW, just because it is in Blender does not mean the TGE engine can support the way Blender does it. I am aware of how powerful Blender is towards animation, that is why I was so dissapointed. To have such a tool and not be able to use it fully is saddening. However, Torque is equally as powerful in other areas. I was just wondering if Torque would support Blender particles.
As regards coverting the particles to meshes, that would not give me the effect I was looking for. But, it may help me in other areas, so thanks for the suggestion.

Sure if we wanted to we could toss all that into TGEA today in theory... you would get less than 1 frame per second but if you like your games that fast...
It's a hardware issue... you can't compare single frame rendering to a real time game render.

What you think of particles in blender is a totally different than TGE's particle system.Sure if we wanted to we could toss all that into TGEA today in theory... you would get less than 1 frame per second but if you like your games that fast...

I didn't mean to start an argument over this question I was just asking if I could use blender that way. I have used the Torque particle editor and am aware it is not the same, I was not comparing the two. I'm sorry if this question caused some hurt feelings. I'll try to be more specific when asking questions in the future.
