Joshua Dallman said "Torque Constructor will be the ultimate Torque modeling program."
in this blog.

What does this mean? From what I read Constructor is BSP.

Means Josh is confused. =)

Constructor is currently a CSG editor, though there have been hints at a polysoup flow down the road. But right now, they are hints and hopes. Constructor is currently on-mark as being an excellent CSG editor for interiors with an excellent (and adaptable) workflow.

I hope to god they don't add poly soup to it. That would only add to peoples (who don't really have 100% grip on the rules of each) frustration.

It needs to make BPS's.

I needs to import meshes for placement ONLY.

It does not need to attempt to replace other modeling tools.

If they want to go that route, then it needs to be a secondary app (Stand alone).

I would agree. I think that most of the speculation has been centered around the 3D levels in TorqueX and the Lightwave export feature that Dave added while "on vacation" (great to see someone so dedicated that they add nifty tools during a break!).

Turning C'tor into a poly soup editor would be significant work. Getting your knickers in a twist over it is really pointless, because even if it did happen it wouldn't be for a very long time ;)

I'm all about knicker twists. It's what I do!
