Open/Save File Issues

I'm trying to port over my TGE game and have been having issues with saving files and loading files. When I use either demo, terrain_water_demo or even my game, I modify it and when I go to save it, it won't pull up any destination paths, it's blank. Or if I go and add some sort of guiBitmap for example on the main menu, the load screen is blank. Does anyone know why this is blank? How would I fix this?
