Ive been hearing you get several things with your xna creators club subscription including a gold live account, extra samples, forums, etc. Is this true?

Hi. Yes I'd also like to know more about this. There seems to be a lot of XNA stuff on the internet, but its hard to tell apart from the original XNA stuff, and the new Xbox 360 XNA stuff. So its difficult to find information.

Do you really get a Gold account with it? That would be good, because I actually think its quite expensive alltogether. I live in the UK, so after buying a 360 for 280GBP, paying the monthly XNA club fee, and paying the monthly net bill, I end up very broke. At 1st I thought you might even need to have a Gold account just to sign up to the XNA club, but I've been told having a Silver account it fine. Getting a Gold account along with the XNA club would be exellent. The XNA club for a year is $126.50 in the UK by the way (65GBP), instead of $99.

Also, when someone downloads your XNA games, does it come off a server you've uploaded to, or off your 360 HDD? If so, does that mean you have to leave your 360 on? And when someone gets your game, is it open source? Can they upload it to their PC and copy the source code and edit it and use it?

(NOTE: GBP stands for Great Britain Pounds, as in pounds sterling. I couldnt type an actual pound sign, because if you do, your post comes out blank. Weird :P )

The only thing you get is the ability to deploy to your own xbox360... but it's worth it imo. More things will be added in the future but currently thats it.
