TSE/TGEA standalone vs. upgrade from TGE 1.5 pricing

So, the current pricing is as follows (for INDIES):
TGE 1.5 - $150.00
TSE early adopter upgrade - $150.00
TOTAL: $300.00
TSE/TGEA final is advertised at $295.00 when it comes out.
Here are the questions:
1. Is it an upgrade price from TGE 1.5.....which means that you have to have TGE 1.5 in order to get TSE/TGEA ($150.00+$295.00) OR is it a standalone TSE/TGEA price ($295.00)?
2. Do you have to have TGE 1.5 in order to get TSE/TGEA?
Thanks for your reply.

From the IOTD:Quote:The engine (formerly known as Torque Shader Engine) will be available to our Indie community for $295 and, as always, license holders will have access to the full C++ source code and never pay any royalties, ever. For larger developers, the Commercial license will be available for $1495 -- also with the source code included and without royalties.
Until the official release on February 15, GarageGames will continue to offer the Torque Game Engine Advanced under the Early Adopter license for $245.00 (ownership of Torque Game Engine is no longer required, but current TGE owners can continue to purchase Torque Game Engine Advanced at the reduced $150 price until February 15).

Missed it by that much... Have to find another $300 now I suppose after updating to 1.5 recently as well. No reminder email which would have been nice.

Have to agree with Mark. An email, at anytime, about a cut-off date to upgrade for $150 would have been nice. Now it's another 300 on top of the 150 already paid.
