Help about max export to dts

Hi Guys
I am really new to this field.
I am using max 8 and dts exporter to made some static human characters.
I try to build a charactor model using biped skeleton and a skin mesh attach to it,
I also configure some dummy object and the Bounds object
but when I use the dts exporter utility-> export->whole shape
the export figure.dts file is 2k and when I use the Torque Showtool Pro
to view the result, only the skeleton (some line and point) can be see as the result.
no mesh can be seen at this step.
anyone know what happend? thanks a lot in advance.
