No it does not wordwrap.

Perhaps you are using the highest resolution on you machine, or something. I dont know. But this forum doesnt word wrap. Once the post is up there, the end of the lines is hidden by the edje of the form.

As I said I have the pics, but there is no way to post them. Using image tags dosnt really help. I would have to have upload my pics to my site and then link to them. Most forums have 'attach a file/pic'.

You say your Ie doesnt change the size of font? My goodness, do you see the icon with the blurred A on it? You can click on that and change your font size for better viewing. Or if you don't have that icon listed on your toolbars, go to view/text size. Try it you might like it. LOL

Yes there is a 'contact us' however the only email there, for this, is contact the webmaster, which I could have used, but since I was in the forum, why not use the feedback forum for the site?

Adding the comment about the new topic button was an after thought. Whats wrong with that? Me thinks thou doth complain too much!

I will email the pics to the webmaster then, if you insist.

And thank you for locking down the thread, I never suspected, members would be so stupid and rude in their replies.

Being a systems analyst, for a gazillion years, I do know how to use/code a web page. LOL.

Some people just are in bad moods when they read these forums and answer from that mood, instead of answering the questions politely.

Thanks again.

I dont know what reply was rude and what reply was stupid, but i guess you must be nameing them by order...

I did not think i was being rude, but if it was taken that way, forgive me. You did not really ask questions, but more over seemd to be trying to poke a stick into a bee nest. I have never had any trouble with the web site design... I do wish the SEARCH function was easier for new users to see, only so some of the same questions are not always being re-asked.

You are correct, the forum output is in a set width by the looks of it, a screen size of 1024x768 would be used for minimal optimal viewing. This day and age most everyone should have a screen size of 1024x768 at least. If you do not have a monitor that can reach that screen size i have a nice 21 inch here i will sell for $20 pluss shipping...

No, my monitor is fine. LOL I sit 8 feet from my monitor and use a larger font setting for better viewing. I like it like that. I have never had this problem in any other forums.

Saying there is something wrong with the sites forum software design, is poking a stick in a bees nest? Why?

What the heck is wrong with that? I love when people tell me there is something wrong, or something they just hate about my site. Feedback is a good thing, whether its good or bad.

The forum is here to be read. I want to read it without copying the entire text into notepad to read the full text, with no missing words or letters. Hmmm, just had a thought, If I can copy the whole text and not see it, maybe my speakit software can also see the full text and speak it for me.... great idea.

Now I have to find that software, I never use it......

Its not what your saying... Its HOW you saying it... Like a stuck up snob. One should remeber they are never any better then anyone else, but it is often forgotten under that little thing Sigmund Freud named EGO.

If you use Firefox, I've made a script for the extension GreaseMonkey that makes the website full width. It wordwraps perfectly.

Wow, Fox, I was just trying to help, How about using manners when talking to others?
I'm not the retard you seem to have portrayed me as, I know the font size function in IE - as I stated it didn't work when I attempted it's use of the website, the page is fixed-width, so the word-wrap does work unless you mess with the formatting. The search function is the box with "Search" written in it at the top of the page. Hard to see, I know.
Please, go away and calm down before posting again and try not to be so rude next time, or you'll get many more replies like Caylo's first.

You note that you are an analyst, which I am as well, and this was the crux of your "analysis":
Quote:I think based on these two simple site tasks, plug the fact there is no contact us page, I will buy elses where, cause you people suck, so I suspect your software must too! REally bad business, folks.

I understand that your security settings are probably set too high to allow javascript or css settings here since GG is not a trusted site for you, but it you had these settings enabled and you had hovered over the "Company" menu item up above, you would have found the contact information. It is not called "Contact Us", but simply "Contact". Adobe and Microsoft have made that mistake in the past, too. They get caught in corporate-speak and lose their audience. Apple, however, has been forward and intuitive by adding the "us", giving a personalized feeling when contacting their Indian contracted support next door to the more inaccessible Microsoft and Adobe support staff.

Now, someone who has only used open-source forum software with the default settings, I could see your beef with non-uploadable images. But, realistically, most forums do not support it. Most commercial forums link externally because it does not tie up their server bandwidth (because space is cheap, bandwidth less so).

But you also make a value statement, which was more rude than any response garnered so far. You note that "you people suck, so I suspect your software must too!" This is a rather intuitive statement since the rest of what you note is available, thought your uncommon browser settings made it seemingly inaccessible. I wonder at your powers of intuition to not be able to find the contact page. I had to scroll like a madman on my cell phone to find it, but I found it (and had to click company because it is an old work phone without nifty new features like Javascript) to get there. But I found the contact page. Perhaps there are accessibility settings which disallow scrolling for untrusted sites, or clicking for that matter. I'm not sure. I set up accessibility settings all the time for clients who are vision or hearing impaired and I haven't run across them. But I do not doubt that they exist. I, most probably, have just not had to use them.

But I find it interesting that browser inability could have caused a value statement that transitioned from "I can't find it and am annoyed" to "you people suck and your software must, too" (paraphrase). There is no causal reason for your statement, and definitely no professional analytic point (or even unprofessional point). It smacks more of a random statement from a once-banned user on GameFAQs wandering back to the Pro Wrestling board to "stir it up" than it does a critical inquiry. But then I may be jaded. In fact, I know I am jaded.

You must not be online much since most corporate sites, community sites, and such are very unfriendly in terms of your situation. I use IE, Firefox, Safari, and Opera rather liberally depending on the machine I'm on and the internet would be rather broken for the vast majority of professional sites that I visit were I to visit them from 8 feet away with a large font. I'm sure we visit different places though.
