Vehicle setup

Hi! i have a vehicle setup in 3d max for export to torque...
I have a problem though. The wheels spin in odd directions, like they flip over instead of rotating like a normal wheel.
Besides this the vehicle goes in circles oblivious to whatever direction i try to press.
When i exported the model i merely replaced the buggy in the starter kit. Did i forget something?
i set the vehicle up with the following hierarchy:
Bounds
Base01
Collision-1
Detail2
LOS-9
Start01
VehicleMesh
Cam
Hub0
Hub1
Hub2
Hub3
Mass
Smoke_node0
eye

So, the diameter of the cylinder for the wheel has to be drawn in the front on view of the car. and make sure the pivot of the wheel bounding box is in the center.
