Sound trouble with Demo

Mr. Finney,
I'm using the Linux version of Torque on Ubuntu 6.06. I got the Demo first and everything seems to work okay except the sound. When I run the program, the demo complains that no openal drivers were detected. I don't understand this since other games made with the Torque engine like ThinkTanks work fine. I just discovered that I can run "./torque.sh demo" from the torqueSDK-1-4-2 directory and after I check the console it seems to load fine. I tried this in your demo's 3D2E folder in the same way and it says the bin file doesn't exist. I changed all the permissions but it will not run from the command line like the SDK does. This is very confusing because the two programs seem very identical. I also can't seem to get your helloworld to work in the SDK. Main.cs is pointing to tutorial.base and and I put the helloworld.cs script there. When I try to exectute it from the torque console as per your instructions, it says that it's missing helloworld.cs. It works fine in the demo but I can't seem to get my $100.00 SDK to do the same thing.
