Assembling a winning team for an Adventure RPG.

Hello,

First of all, thank you for reading this, I will try to keep it short and simple. Like many of you, I have ideas for games, and I want to make them come alive. I haven't been able to find a project that I felt compelled to be a part of, so I'm attempting to establish my own team of winners. I would like to lead the development process in general, but I don't claim to know it all, and I will absolutely need you. In fact, I know only enough to earn my keep and supply a strong vision, excellent direction, and other valuable resources (programming, design, producing, writing, testing, etc).--I consider myself to be a versatile individual, and I know garbage from gold, just as anyone should. But enough about me, let me tell you a little more about one of my ideas. Feel free to see my profile to learn more about me and my skills.

In order to keep the delivery of the games within a reasonable time frame, there will be "short stories" or as I like to call them, episodes, released on a regular basis. These episodes will allow us to make quality work without the unnecessary overhead that the big-time developers carry with their games. This is an important strategy that I've thought about tremendously. Now, the game that I'm hoping to create first is a mash-up of the role-playing, adventure, and first-person shooter genres. I don't want to go deep into detail, because I value my ideas, and I want to keep them only for trusted individuals. But I will say that it is modeled after some classic and contemporary award-winning games, with an emphasis on reality, action, adventure, and the like. There will be some adult content, but minimal profanity, and mild nudity. The story will be a good one, with a hero/main character, morals, and a happy ending. The adult content will be a small piece of the puzzle, really, but crucial to the plot, because it has to be life-like. And that is only the beginning. Eventually, I want to make all types of blockbuster games.

So, that's it for now, I told you that I would keep it short. I'm sorry that I can't share more, but believe me there is plenty to be told. If you want to apply your skills to something fun, creative, and rewarding, then join me on my quest! You won't regret it and it will be an amazing time. This will be just a part time gig for me, I'm learning as I go, especially when it comes to Torque, but I'm confident that I will make things happen in the long run. I have too much passion towards PC gaming and it's what I want to do for a living. I will need people from all walks of life to get my ideas afloat, but I do need driven, talented individuals. Contact me if you're interested.

Thank you,

MM
