Object mounting should be much more obvious.

When you choose to mount Object A to Object B, the only way you can tell that it has 'clicked' to the node is if it snaps there. This is... sorta okay... for solid object, but try doing this with a particle emitter spraying stars! Almost impossible to tell that it has actually linked.

Suggestion: At the center of the object you are moving, whenever you are over a link point, a symbol appears. Simple as that.

As a workaround, you could turn on a debug rendering mode like show bounding boxes or something - it's usually not hard to see when the object centers itself on the yellow plus sign.

I'm also finding the the 'mounting method' is not done in the same way in all places. I mean, if I go to mount an object to the link point on another, I get the yellow plus signs and stuff. However, if I want to mount and object to the node on a path, it does not show the plus signs. It still 'SOMETIMES' clicks into place, but not always. It would probably be good if this was all standardized.

Agreed - especially with paths, where the snap is very subtle. It would also be useful if the object that was going to become the mount parent was highlighted, for situations where several objects are overlapping.
